Volunteers:

The River of Time Museum has many volunteer opportunities. Among those are three classifications which stand out specifically and most visibly.

Docents: These are museum guides. They are thoroughly trained with information about every exhibit in the Museum. They participate in special events and openings, conduct tours, attend meetings every month and receive special education.

Diplomats: These greeters accept admission fees and often begin a group of visitors by starting the orientation video at the beginning of the tour.

Museum Store: These people man the River Bank store housed within the Museum. They perform sales.

Other volunteers work on grants, membership, collections management, and the newsletter, to mention a few. At the end of each season in April we honor these hardworking volunteers.
